Your Appointment As Dean Faculty of Computing, AAUA Well Deserved – MUSGAAU Rejoices With Prof. S.O Aadam.

 

The Muslim Graduates of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State (MUSGAAU) has felicitated with Professor S.O. Aadam on his appointment as the Dean of the Faculty of Computing, AAUA.

This was revealed during a five-member delegation of MUSGAAU led by Dr. Talabi Rasheed Ayegbusi courtesy visit to Professor Aadam, marking his return to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) after nearly a decade and a half abroad.

The visit, sanctioned by the Acting Chairman of the Muslim Graduates of the University (MUSGAAU), Amir Bello AbdulGafar Adewale, aimed to welcome Professor Aadam back to the university, where he has been appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Computing.

Professor Aadam, one of the pioneer Muslim staff members at AAUA, has long been recognized for his significant contributions to the Muslim community and his unwavering support for Muslim students on campus. His return is seen as a major boost for the university’s Muslim community.

During the visit, the MUSGAAU delegation congratulated Professor Aadam on his new appointment and discussed the association’s vision and mission, including efforts to support Muslim students through dawah, academic excellence, and skill development to navigate the current economic challenges. MUSGAAU also explored opportunities for collaboration, particularly in creating avenues for members with expertise in his field.

While reacting, Professor Aadam expressed his gratitude to the delegation and the leadership of MUSGAAU, affirming his commitment to supporting the association’s goals, which align with his own reasons for returning to Nigeria. He highlighted that despite lucrative offers from his previous position in Saudi Arabia, he chose to return to contribute to the development of AAUA and the Muslim community.

In recognition of his longstanding support and to mark the reunion, MUSGAAU presented Professor Aadam with a customized wall frame, symbolizing the strong bond between him and the association.
