The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Alanamu Central Ward, Ilorin, Kwara State, Ibrahim Kuranga, has dumped the party to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Kuranga addressed a letter to PDP chairman in his ward to resign his position and membership from the party.
“I have decided to join the reputable political party, All Progressives Congress (APC),” he wrote.
Kuranga’s exit from the PDP is a new addition to the mass exodus affecting the opposition party led by former Senate President Bukola Saraki in Kwara State.
Major stakeholders of the party have left and continue to leave as we approach the gubernatorial and house of assembly elections on March 11.
