Information reaching thenewskingdom have it that some members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have resorted to spiritual activities on behalf of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola, just ahead of the 2026 governorship election in Osun State,
It has been reported that some APC members have been employing voodoo, seeking spiritual help for Oyetola for citizens of the state to love him and give him their unflinching support comes 2026.
According to the Information, these loyalists have been allegedly going from one herbalists and prophets to anothers to seek spiritual atonement for Oyetola to be unprecedentedly popular and accepted by the people of the state.
It was learnt that the concerned loyalists were disturbed about the continuous unpopularity of Oyetola and the way people have been rejecting his choice for the 2026 governorship election.
In addition to voodoo, information stated that some APC members allegedly organised a special victory prayer for Oyetola for him to secure the ticket of the party and win the governorship election.
Thenewskingdom gathered that the prayer was organised by Osun Non-Returned Caretaker Councillors, a political group within the state APC, in Osogbo, on Monday.
However, the chairman of the group, Hon. Maroof Salam disclosed that the prayer session was a testament to the strong bond and solidarity within the Osun APC on the Oyetola’s aspirations.
Salam assured the former governor of their loyalty and commitment towards his 2026 ambition.
Meanwhile, the prayer session has stirred reactions from residents of the state through their various social media handles.
One of the facebook user, Geoffrey John, has expressed personal feeling towards the prayer, said God would never answer such prayer, saying APC is evil to the people.
“God almighty will never answer this one, God does not like oppression. APC are evil people.” He stated.
