*OSUN: LAUTECH Governing Council Announces New VC – Details*
The Governing Council of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso has just announced Professor Rasaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu as the substantive Vice Chancellor of the Institution.
This information was just disclosed some moments ago by a reliable sources.
An aide of Prof Kalilu also confirmed the news saying “The Governing Council just announced Prof Kalilu as next substantive VC of LAUTECH though subject to the Visitor’s approval.”
Prof Kalilu’s name is expected to be forwarded to Governor Seyi Makinde, the state’s helmsman and Visitor to the university for endorsement.
This process is in accordance with the new law proposed by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), it was stated.
Prof Kalilu has been serving as Acting Vice Chancellor of the Institution since last year June.
