OLYMPIC QUALIFIERS: Minister Tasks Super Falcons.
John Enoh, Minister of Sports Development, has urged the Super Falcons of Nigeria to defeat their South African counterparts in the second leg of their Olympic qualifiers on Tuesday in Pretoria.
John made this known in a statement released on Sunday in FCT, Abuja.
It was gathered that Super Falcons, who have not qualified for women football event of the Olympics in 16 years, piped the Bayana Bayana of South Africa 1-0 in the first leg in Abuja on Friday.
John reiterated that having missed out on the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Olympic Games, it was time to reclaim their spot on the international stage.
