Ó Súwa Rally: PDP begins campaign of calumny

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State has perfected arrangements to start a campaign of calumny against civil servants in the state.

The party is planning to hold a rally to express their grievances against the benefits civil servants have been enjoying in Kwara State under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, including prompt payment of salaries, implementation of N30,000 minimum wage, payment of allowances, among others.

They said civil servants should go back to the era of no salaries, no pension, no implementation of minimum wage among other negativities.

Recall that the state PDP had earlier sponsored a series of protests in recent times, at KWIRS, Kwara Hotel which later turned out to be a failure.

They have however planned to punish civil servants who did not follow their antics by launching a campaign of calumny against them.

Our reporter learnt that the opposition party will converge for the rally at General Roundabout on Tuesday in the morning.

Recall that some leaders of the party in the state had urged their supporters to blackmail the AbdulRazaq-led administration with propaganda.

“The latest antics is following this directive. They will tell lies at the rally and try to pit the people against the government,” a source told our medium.
