Eminent personalities within and outside Nigeria to grace the long awaited 3in1 event to celebrate the popular On Air Personality and Nollywood actor, Otunba Adekunle Abolade popularly known as Dodoede’s 20-year in broadcasting industry, celebration of his birthday and N20m fundraising to shoot a movie titled Amobi Eso.
This is revealed in a release signed by the spokesperson of the planning committee, Mukhtar Ajelogbon on Friday in Osogbo.
The release confirmed the security of lives and property, welfare of participants, entertainment among others at the event whenever Aso Ebi (Ankara) with access card is the only ticket to participate for free.
The release read in full; “Gentlemen of the Press, the planning committee for the 3in1 event to mark the two decades of our man, Otunba Ismail Adekunle Abolade famously known as Dodoede’s professional journey in broadcast media, as well as his birthday and two-hundred million naira (N200m) fundraising to produce a movie-cinema titled “Amobi Eso”is here to give a comprehensive reports on the much anticipated talk-of-the-town event.
“Today, Friday 14th February, 2025 is significant because it is the birthday of the celebrant. We celebrate and cherish him, while efforts by the planning committee led by Chief Sunday Ayesoro as Chairman and the Secretary,, Prince Adedayo Adeyemi to have a smooth and fruitful event have yielded positive results, workable plans to implement them on Sunday are in top gear.
“Dignitaries within and outside Nigeria will start arriving in Osun from tomorrow Saturday while our professional vendors who will handle various aspects of the event are already in Osogbo for the smooth running of activities ahead of Sunday.
“Security of lives and property during the event is guaranteed. We’ve engaged almost all security agencies in Osun and beyond, such as the Nigerian Army, DSS, Police, Bouncers, Amotekun among others will be on standby throughout the event.
“However, we are reaffirming the need for every individual who has shown interest in one way or the other to attend the event with their access cards as gate fees. Wearing the Aso-Ebi (Ankara) does not guarantee free entry without the access card. We are assuming all participants of adequate security and welfare in terms of a peaceful atmosphere, foods and drinks at the event.
