Mutiyat Oyediran Emerges Rotary Club Osogbo President, Commends Benson Adeyemi Foundation For Providing Free Medical Check Up – Details.

Information reaching thenewskingdom have it that Rotary Club of Osogbo Central (RTN) has appointed the new 10th and first female president to lead the club.

It was reliably gathered that the members of the Club installed Mutiyat Oyediran on Saturday in Osogbo to mark the beginning of the new era.

Additionally, the club held award ceremony to recognize various eminent individuals who have successfully made significant contributions to the development of their careers and given back to society.

Addressing attendees on Saturday at the official investiture of the Club held in Osogbo, Osun state capital, the 10th and first female president, RTN. Mutiyat Oyediran pledged to continue with the aims and objectives of the club by assisting the less privilege in the society.

In her goodwill messages, RTN. Oyediran affirmed further that the Rotary Club of Osogbo Central is always on its feet to render helping hand to the less privilege and promoting peace in the society, commending the Benson Adeyemi Foundation for their partnership to provide medical check up at the tenth investiture of the Club.

Oyediran said, “The Medical Outreach is actually sponsored by a Rotariant Benson Adeyemi, who’s one of the awardees today and he is also a member of the club, he has been doing it in the past and he is still doing it”.

“Basically, what Rotary Club does for the society is given back to the society, and of course everybody knows the Rotary International for that”.

“So far, in the past by some of my past presidents, we have actually supported people like widows. We do support them with some vocational materials, grinding machine to suppress the hardship in the society”.

“And in the past we have given palliative to assist the petty traders in our society and the new administration is going to do the same”.

The newskingdom gathered that Oluwafikayo Adeyemi Benson, the Executive Director of the Benson Adeyemi Foundation and Director of Global Goal at the United Nations Association USA Chicago, bagged the award at the tenth investiture of the Club.

Meanwhile, The Executive Director disclosed that the foundation focuses on mental health and medical outreaches, with a goal of ensuring everyone has access to good health.

While speaking at the program, Dr. Benson affirmed that the foundation has been working with the Osun state government to achieve its goal.

Benson emphasized that the foundation partner with the club to encourage people to take advantage of the opportunity to check their health status.

“The focused of this medical outreach is to be in collaboration partnership with Rotary Club of Osogbo Central”.

“They have an investiture as they are installing the 10th president and the first female president”.

“We are here to partner with them based on our Medical Outreach, just to check blood pressure of people and blood sugar,” he added.

Notably, the head of the finance department of Benson Adeyemi Foundation, Omotayo Benson Adeyemi made it known to all and sundry that one of the major goal of Benson Adeyemi Foundation, is to ensure everyone have access to good health and this is really important to us because we know how this is going to help the community health.

“And we have been able to achieve it with the support of Osun state government. We really commend the Osun state government for their ongoing effort to see that there is improvement in the health sector”.

“It is very important for us to know the state of our health, which is why we organize medical outreaches like this, where people will check their health status”.

“It is still very important for people to check their health status, to run medical checks as many times as possible, most especially utilizing an opportunities like this”.

“We will bring more of this to support what government is offering for citizens,” she added.
