Lagos: Govt Shuts Osborne-Dolphin, Adeniji-Adele Link Bridge, Suggests Alternative Routes – Details.
Information reaching thenewkingdom have it that Lagos State government has concluded plans to shut, and divert traffic from Osborne/Dolphin Estate to Sura en route Adeniji Adele Link Bridge for asphalt road pavement.
This announcement was made by the commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi on Saturday.
Osiyemi made it known that the closure takes effect from midnight today, Saturday, July 27, to 5 a.m., on Monday, July 29, for the rehabilitation work.
As a result, Lagos State government advised motorists to use the following alternative routes:
From Osborne/Dolphin Estate, motorists are advised to connect the Sura Link Bridge to Adeniji Adele to access the Third Mainland Bridge, and continue with their journeys.
Additionally, motorists from the State House at Marina are to connect Obalende to link Simpson Bridge inward to Sura; and access Adeniji Adele to link the Third Mainland Bridge.
Osiyemi has further assured that the state traffic management personnel will be on the ground to manage vehicular movement and reduce inconveniences.
However, the commissioner has urged motorists to be patient and adhere to the direction of movements by the traffic management personnel for seamless movement.
