The troops of Osun Amotekun Corps has revealed that one Taofeek Oyekola, a public transport (popularly called Korope) driver, in Osogbo, Osun State aged 26, was apprehended for allegedly applying a magic ring to lure a teenager to his residence in an attempt to have her canal experience.
According to information reached us, the suspect confessed to have forcefully drive 15-year-old girl and attempted to rape her at his residence in Osogbo, the state capital.
Confirming the incident in a statement released on Monday, Idowu Yusuf, Osun Amotekun spokesperson, confirmed that the 15-year-old girl (name withheld) boarded an intra-city minibus of Oyekola at Oja Oba, Osogbo going toward Ilesa Garage Area on Saturday when the driver allegedly used a voodoo ring he had on his finger to hit the victim.
It was reliably gathered that Taofeek, the suspect, brought out a ring, wore it on his finger, and hit it with the victim since she is the only passenger as at that time which made the victim lose her memory.
Meanwhile, the suspect successfully drove the victim to his residence at Ita-Olookan, Osogbo. On getting to the residence, Oyekola asked her to undress, but the victim refused which made his neighbors to suspect him, raised alarm and consequently led to his arrest.
