The information reaching thenewskingdom have it that, Benson Adeyemi Foundation (BAF) a Non Governmental Organization, has reaffirmed its mandate to provide and encourage healthy lifestyle for the people across board.
The foundation made this known at the medical outreach programme where free medical services were provided for residents held on Sunday in Osogbo the Osun State capital.
While speaking with newsmen, the representative of the NGO, Temitope Oladejo explained that the organization has been conducting various outreaches for over eight months, aligning with the government’s efforts to promote wellness.
He added that one of the Benson Adeyemi Foundation’s key focuses is to make sure people maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Oladejo encouraged individuals to prioritize their health and maintain a healthy lifestyle through regular check-ups, regardless of financial circumstances.
According to him, “This is a testament to what the organization stands for and also to work with the Osun State Government in making sure that the lives of the people are well improved by having an overall healthy lifestyle.
“This is our own way of giving back to the society and we are also committed to the effort of the government.
“Over 8 months we have been running different outreaches, we are always happy to contribute our quota to the state government when it comes to ensuring that people have a healthy lifestyle.
“Our key focus is to make sure people maintain a healthy lifestyle and we want to encourage people to frequently go for check ups,” he added.
The freed medical outreach was held on Sunday to support a novelty match organized by Inside Osogbo, between the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun Command, and Osun Twitter FC that ended in 1-1 draw, held at the Osogbo Grammar School, Osogbo Osun State capital.
In their separate reactions, the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the BAF for providing free medical services to the community.
While speaking, Oluwatosin Adodo who praised the organizer for the commendable work in caring for the health and well-being of the residents, calls on other Nigerians to emulate the same gesture.
“I want to say a big thank you to BAF for the free medical service. This is truly commendable, and we appreciate the organization’s efforts in caring for people’s health,” Adodo said.
Another beneficiary, Omokorede Anthonia also lauded the team of the NGO, saying, “The service provided by BAF is top-notch, and we are grateful for their dedication to improving the health and lives of our community members.”
In his reaction, Head Coach and Head of Sport Unit of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Osun State Command, Bankefa Olufemi, commented the organizer of the program, adding that or will improve healthy living and promote harmony among residents.
He described the 1-1 draw match as friendly and spirit of sportsmanship.
