A popular Idumota market in Lagos State has been gutted by high tense inferno leaving many traders in tears, sad mood and panic mode.
What actually triggered the fire is still remains obscured. However, the intensity of the fire has caused many other traders to worry that it would spread to other shops. Many of the traders were seen crying and screaming for help while others lamented that they did not know why the market would suffer fire disasters almost every year.
According to the source, a firefighting truck was seen driving to the scene of the incident to help quench the fire. It is expected that normalcy will be restored soon.
