The current state Chairman of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) in Osun, Otunba Abolade Adekunle Ismail popularly known as Dodoede has assured the people of Irewole/ Ayedaade/Isokan federal constituency of good representation at the Federal House of Representatives.
Dodoede made this known on Wednesday while declaring his intention to contest for House of Representatives to represent the people of Irewole/Ayedaade/Isokan federal constituency under the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party.
In his declaration message made available to newsmen, Dodoede explained that the time for youths to take over mantle of leadership is now, adding that he is set to change the current narrative in the Constituency.
According to the Ikire born broadcast journalist and grassroots mobilizer who hail from Abolade’s compound, Popo Area in Ikire, Irewole local government of Osun state, “We cannot continue like this and expect something good to come out. We must all get involved.
“Am contesting to bring democracy to the door steps of my constituents, am going to the green chamber to represent the youths and our parents. It is high time we say no to money-bag politicians.”
“Let’s change those who have been on the corridor of power since 1999 and bring in new minds.”
“If given opportunity to serve my people, I am going to sponsor bills that will cater for young people in our society. Also, I am going to bring dividend of democracy to my people. I will facilitate many projects to my constituency.” he explained.
