*Gunmen Attack Popular Hotel, Set Vehicles on Fire at Ebonyi State*
At Ezzamgbo in the Ohaukwu Local government Area of Ebonyi State, one person has been reported killed by an unknown gunmen.
Information revealed that one unknown gunmen attacked a hotel belonging to one Local government chairman, Ikechukwu Odono.
According to the report, the attack allegedly led to the burning of many cars around the vicinity.
DSP Joshua Ukandu, the acting Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, when contacted on the mobile telephone line, confirmed the incident to newsmen during the conversation, on Monday.
Said, “the unfortunate incident occurred at Ezzamgbo junction on Sunday night, leading to the killing of one yet-to-be-identified person.
It was confirmed from the Police PRO that more personnel have been deployed to the area to unravel the circumstances behind the attack.
Another attack reoccured il barely two weeks after a POS operator was attacked and killed in the same area.
