The Turaki of Ilorin Mallam Saliu Mustapha is undoubtedly marking his 50th year anniversary today.
He is not just marking a new age, but he’s reinvigorating the face of humanity in him.Yes, it is a great thing to grow in phases because that is how Almighty Allah has designed our existence.
The last two years has been phenomenal for Turaki owing to the fact that his choice as Turaki Ngeri by HRH The Emir of Ilorin has enliven the humanity in him in no small measure
He got the title, because he is a great lover of his people and community which he has exhibited in deeds and actions over the years
If you are privileged to be on social media platforms be it Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, twitter etc they are preoccupied by Saliu Mustapha admirers and enthutiasts
Essentially, one monumental takeaway that I have learnt from him is that Mallam Saliu has made it through his kind-hearted philosophical and political escapades in Kwara and beyond..
He never asked anyone to celebrate him In fact, he said he wanted a quiet celebration going by the press release issued lastnight by Alhaji Shuaib Adebayo Ambali, the Director General Of Saliu Mustapha Foundation
But if you are good in your community, you don’t have to appeal for publicity, people would do that for you with great passion
Furthermore, it is worthy to give honour to the one who deserves it. As he is warming up for campaign to woo voters, we must have it in minds that Turaki of Ilorin is the best choice to represent us as a Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District come 2023.May Allah grant him long live and prosperity
