Says Kwara state one of safest state
The Proactiveness of Kwara state government, and cooperation of people in the state has been commended by
Commander of the 22 Armoured Brigade, Sobi Barracks, Ilorin, Kwara State.
The Commander, Brigadier General A. A Babalola at the same occasion described Kwara State as one of the safest states in the country.
These remarks were made while receiving the chairman and board members of the Kwara State Television Authority who were on a courtesy visit to his office.
He ascribed his assertion to available statistics which showed that Kwara state has one of the lowest crime rates in the country.
The army chief expressed his command’s readiness to work with the TV station to bring about enhanced safety and harmony that Kwara is known for.
Responding to the welcome of the army chief, Hameed Adio the TV board chairman hailed the Nigerian soldiers whom he described as critical stakeholders in the Nigerian project due to their unique role in protecting the nation’s territorial integrity and ensuring the citizens safety.
