National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria (NEMA) warehouse have been reportedly looted by some residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja over the current economic hardship across the country
According to the report, the warehouse which is located at Karimo, Phase 3 region of the FCT, Abuja, was raided on Sunday morning.
The looters carted away foodstuffs and other items. Officers of the Nigeria Police Force have been deployed to the area to disperse the looters and secure the building.
It was confirmed from the spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, that the situation had been brought under control.
