As political permutations continue ahead of the 2023 general elections, two members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kwara state have resigned their membership from the party.
The duo, Amed Kola Akorede of Eesa B ward, and Abdulmajeed Hamza Dolapo from Ojomu ward South-East in Offa local government area of the state gave personal reasons behind their resignations from the party.
In their separate resignation letters obtained by THE NEWSKINGDOM, both of them had resigned their membership in a letter addressed to their ward party Chairmen
since October 2022.
However, a source within the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kwara who anonymously revealed that Ahmed Akorede and Abdulmajeed Dolapo have joined the rulling party with their numerous flowers from SDP to support Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s reelection.
