A 41-year-old Barr. Ismail Bolaji Yahaya Muhammed Atoloye Alebiosu, has been reportedly named the new Olupo of Ajase-ipo.
It could be recalled that the death of Oba Sikiru Atanda Sanni Woleola II on February 21st, 2021 after a brief illness declared the Olupo seat vacant.
According to the report, the staff of office was handed over at a brief ceremony held this morning at the Kwara State Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Social Development, which was presided over by the Ministry’s Commissioner, Arch. Aliyu Muhammed Saifudeen.
The new Oba Olupo was born into the Alebiosu ruling house on February 11th, 1980. He graduated with a second class upper division in law from the University of Ilorin in 2003, and he also holds a master’s degree from Nigeria’s premier university, the University of Ibadan.
The new oba, Alebiosu is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in the United Kingdom, and prior to his appointment, he was the managing partner and Head of Chambers at CLARKE (SAN and Muhammed Legal Office owned by Chief Robert Clarke).
