After the inuguration of another IloriOluwa group within the All Progressives Congress APC in Osogbo local government, the progressive minded and workaholic Coordinator of Ilerioluwa Group in Osogbo Local Government, Prince Nurudeen Ajibola Matanmi has described the emergence of the group 2 as a plus to the positive efforts of the IleriOluwa group under his watch as the pioneer Coordinator with the support of all APC leaders in the entire Osogbo Central, West, and North local governments.
The Osogbo born grassroots mobilizer, Prince Matanmi made this known while addressing journalists after the meeting in Osogbo on Tuesday encouraged all members of the group, most especially the ward and local excecutives to continue working for the success of Governor Gboyega Oyetola 2022 reelection in the state, adding that all party members who believe in the agenda of the current administration in Osun within the All Progressive Congress should remain focused and canvass massive votes for Governor Oyetola at various level to make the second term agenda a reality.
In his words, “The emergence of IleriOluwa group 2 is a welcome development since their aims is to also promote Governor Gboyega Oyetola. No father will pray not to have more than a child and more grandchildren. so it’s a welcome idea.
“There are multiple IleriOluwa groups in Osun, there are Ilerioluwa Flag Bearer, Ilerioluwa Movement, IleriOluwa Liberators e.t.c and all are working to promote Mr Governor, so there is nothing bad to have IleriOluwa group 2 in Osogbo as well.”
In their separate contributions, the Assistant Coordinator and Secretary of the group, Prince Adebayo Adeyeye and Basiru Akeem said having IleriOluwa group 2 is as a result of the positive impact of the main IleriOluwa group within the All Progressives Congress, adding that it can extend from group 2 to 3, 4, 5 up to 10 groups for the success of the governor.
Prince Matanmi stated further that the group remains focuse under his watch as Coordinator in Osogbo Local Government, adding that there is no pressure within and outside the group, while the Ward and Local executives that believe in the success of Governor Oyetola should just concentrate on their work without looking back.
